Thick, super-absorbent pad consisting of three layers: soft outer non-woven layer, fluff filler to absorb and disperse fluid and wet-proof moisture barrier to prevent fluid strike-through. Cushions draining wounds, burns, and prevents skin maceration (breakdown). Unique wet-proof moisture barrier helps minimize exposure to blood-borne pathogens. Absorbs more fluid than ordinary abdominal pads for fewer dressing changes. Edges are sealed to prevent lint residue and leaking. Outer layer facing has a topside indicator stripe to ensure proper application.
